Below is a pic of the guitar, though the actual one that I'm getting has a much nicer quilted maple pattern in the veneer:

The guitar seems to offer quite a bit for the money. All of the hardware is of good quality, and the finish is far beyond what other guitars seem to offer in this price range. Even if I never get good at playing it, at least it'll look good in my office!

I think it's awesome. By the end of the year you, kristin, and I can have a jam-out session. I think I'm taking lessons at HOG. $18 for 1/2hr session. w00t.
sweet. Kristin and I are looking forward to taking lessons together. We usually don't really have many common interests which makes it tough to do stuff together, so this will be nice. You should have lance take lessons with you. :)
